Since our original notification (which can be found here) we have been working to recover the data that had been encrypted as a result of the cyber incident.
We are providing an update to inform you that we have been able to recover patient reports that had been impacted by the cyber incident. We are now in the process of attempting to recover historical scanned images which may take some time.
If we determine that the Medicare card, Centrelink card or Veteran Card information provided to us prior to the cyber incident is valid and unexpired, we will seek to contact you directly by post no later than the 31 st July 2024 and provide you with additional steps that you may wish to consider undertaking to protect your personal information.

It is important to note that, at the time of this update, we are not aware of any evidence to suggest that any of Quantum’s or affected individuals’ information has been published online as a result of the cyber incident, however we continue to take a cautious position in relation to this information, to ensure that you have the information available to you to protect yourself.
