As COVID-19 continues to affect our communities, our team is implementing additional measures to ensure the wellbeing of our patients and staff. Please ensure that you observe the government regulations and our clinic guidelines to assist us in keeping you and our communities safe.
Before Entering Our Premises
Are you feeling unwell or have you recently developed a fever, cough, breathing difficulties?
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, a sore throat or respiratory symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for or is suspected of contracting Coronavirus – Please do not attend Medical Imaging Erina without calling a member of our team first.
For medically urgent matters please attend the nearest hospital or dial 000.
Face masks are a mandatory requirement for entry to our premises, consistent with NSW Government guidelines.
Exemptions can only be approved by our clinical risk management team even if you have an exemption letter.
All exemption requests must be submitted in writing to the clinical risk management team via the contact details below. Exemption requests should include the following documentation:
- Your referral form &
- A copy of your mask exemption form
- Reason why an exemption is required
Please allow adequate time for our team to assess your request. You will be notified if your request has been approved.
Medical Imaging Erina prioritises the safety of our patients and staff. We have implemented several measures across all our practices to minimise potential hazards and exposure, including:
- Patient screening at the time of appointment booking and appointment
- Mandatory Services NSW QR code check in prior to entry
- Face masks are a mandatory requirement for entry to our premises, consistent with Department of Health guidelines. Exemptions can be requested, as stated above.
- Masks and PPE equipment worn by our staff to maintain a safe environment in our clinics.
- Caregivers and family members are requested to wait outside our facilities, to the extent physically possible.
- Negative COVID-19 tests may be requested within 72 hours prior to an appointment as part of our clinical risk assessment.
- Reception barriers to protect our staff and the patients
- Physical distancing measures within the Department of Health guidelines will be strictly followed. This includes limiting the number of patients and visitors in our waiting areas and facilities. Please expect to wait outside our clinic prior to being called in to your appointment.
- Thorough cleaning and sanitisation of equipment between patients is implemented across all our practices.
- Hand sanitiser stations provided throughout our clinics
Harassing/threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. All Medical Imaging Erina staff members are considered front-line health workers and are entitled to work in a safe environment and be treated with respect.
